Frozen Beauty

She has always been a beauty
Her neck decorated with icicle diamonds
Her eyes cold and gray, as deep as the sea
Her cheeks rosy pink in perfect contrast
To her long blond hair blowing towards me

She speaks with the tone of the rich and respected
Her ice cold stare demanding her wants
With her long tapered fingers she has selected
The only soldiers brave enough to withstand her taunts
She blows the rest away, unaffected

She poses now, in front of me
Asking me to come and play
Asking me to set her free
On this cold Winters’ day
